During the early 1980s, an autogenous and technical tool shopping streets together with medium and small iron foundries located at In-dong area started being formed, which is Wondong Tool Street. It means that 20 years already passed very quickly.
Wondong Tool Street which was located between the Daeheung bridge and the Jung bridge is consists of 35 shops now. They mainly deal with tens of thousands of tools such as cutting tool, operating tool, electric-powered tool and factory machineries, and also deal with machineries for practicing at factory and school and tools for home use. Of course, people can purchase tools at a reasonable price or make inquiries about them.
Although it is easy to find Wondong Tool Street, it is not so good place for crowded shops considering difficulties in parking and environmental circumstances. It's really disadvantageous to them as they positioned at this area long time ago when they have no problems on transportation and parking.
This area is divided into three territories which deals with bearing, pump and auto-sawing machine, and is a center of Wondong Tool Street which consists of single floor and three floors building.
