Bomunsan (Mt.)
This mountain is known as Daejeon's natural city park. It is located on the edge of the city, with its peak at more than 457.6 meters above sea level. On the mountain can be found ancient sites from the Baekje Dynasty, such as the Bomunsanseong (mountain fortress), the Yuhoedang (house for education), the Bongsoru, and the Bomunsaji (temple site). Nearby are amusement parks that include Bomun Green Land, Pupu Land, and Sajeong Park, as well as Youth Square.

Bomunsanseong (mountain fortress)
The fortress located on the south ridge of the Bomunsan (mountain) observatory, at an altitude of more than 390 m is believed to have been built in the later part of the Baekje Dynasty, It was built there due to the discovery of porcelain and tile dating from the Three Kingdoms Era. It is also presumed that there might be relics of many other fortresses nearby. In response to this idea, there was revival of interest in this area after the fall of Baekje.
Sajeong Park at Bomunsan
The Bomunsan Sajeong area is in a comparatively wide river valley. This area is utilized as a recreational area by the residents for picnics, sports, its athletic facilities, its artificial lakes, and its mineral springs. This is a resort park prototype area.
Yuhoedang
Yuhoedang, which is also Gwon I-jin's pen name, is a wooden-building that was built in 1715 to commernorate kwon's faithfulness to his parents.
Maaeyeorae jwasang, the sculpture of Buddha in Bomunsan
The statue of Buddha in Bomunsan (mountain), carved on a wall of rock in the valley of Bomunsan (mountain), is called the Maaeyeorae jwasang (image) of Bomunsan. It is believed to belong to the earl Joseon Dynasty Period, based on the sculpting method used in carving the face of the statue. In May 1990, the sculpture was designated as Daejeon's Cultural Property No. 19. It also has nickname of Jangsu bucheo (Buddha).
Seokjo of Bomunsaji
In the valley to the southwest of Bomunsan (mountain) is Bomunsaji (temple site). Bomunsaji is believed to have existed from the Goryeo to the Joseon Dynasty. It has Seokjo which has been designated as one of Daejeon's Cultural properties, maetdol (a stone hand mill), and a water mill.
Ppuri Park (Family Roots Park)
Ppuri Park, located in Chimsan-dong, Jung-gu, is a park honoring filial piety. It was founded with the aim of instilling in the younger generations a sense of loyalty to, filial piety for, and admiration of the spirit of their forefathers. Sculptures show the origins of Korean surnames, and facilities are available for cultural and sports activities. Ppuri Park is also suitable for family picnics and walks.
Bomun Green Land · Pupu Land
In Bomun Green Land, there are twelve different kinds of rides. These include a merry-go-round, a space fighter, a ferris wheel, a magic house, a viking snip, and a cable car.
To the right of Green Land, there is an outdoor music hall. On the left is the Bomundae Lookout of Bomunsan (mountain), where the entire city of Daejeon can be viewed.
 Local Foods
On both sides of the Bomunsan Park access road, there are many restaurants with various kinds of amusement facilities. There one can enjoy the local wines, and dishes such as muk (acorn-starch jelly), pajeon (shallot griddlecake), bindaetteok (green-pea griddle cake), boribap (barley rice), chicken, and duck.
