Ppuri Park is a place of education for the younger generation. Sculptures displayed in this park are related to the origins of Korean surnames, Children can find their Ppuri (which means ancestry), and gain a better understanding of Korea. This park functions as: 1) an educational park, 2) a family park, by offering diverse family facilities and events, 3) a sports park - it has many places for the young to enjoy themselves, and 4) a natural park with lots of plants which greenery, and provides fresh air for the citizens downtown.
